How the residency started.
2020 – 2023
The pattern emerges
After law school, the creator went through bootcamps and earned certificates but still could not prove she could do the work. The turning point was simulating real projects: contract workflows, automation pipelines, system designs. That is when employers started paying attention.
2023 – 2024
The idea takes shape
Building AI-native systems and sitting in stakeholder meetings confirmed the problem from both sides. Employers wanted proof of capability, not credentials. Professionals wanted a way to generate that proof without already having the job.
2024
From legal to tech consultant
Having moved from legal into low-code and no-code, the creator was now a tech consultant charging five to six figures. She watched siblings in healthcare look for a way to transition and found courses in health informatics priced at £800 / $1,000 or more that still taught nothing job-ready. She wanted to make the residency free. A mentor pushed back: people pay for value, and free work is abandoned. So Iteretta charges just enough for learners to have skin in the game, while staying far below the rip-offs she saw.
2025
Hiri is built
The core insight: these skills are learned by doing, but most learners never get feedback on practical work because senior reviewers are too expensive to scale. Hiri was designed to fill that role: assign the business challenge, review the deliverable, and push the work toward a clear standard.
2026 – present
The digital residency launches
What started as a set of internal scenarios became a full platform. Labs across AI strategy and operations, legal tech, health tech, compliance, automation, product management, and full-stack architecture. Each one built on real briefs, verified by AI, ready to show employers.

Iteretta is the digital residency built by JEA Operations Ltd, founded by Juliet Edjere. She transitioned from legal into low-code and no-code, and now works as a tech consultant charging five to six figures for the exact skills these labs teach. She wanted to make the residency free; a mentor convinced her that people pay for value, and free work is abandoned. The result is priced for skin in the game, not for profit.
